Meet The Team – Marshal Hayes

February 9th, 2016 | Posted by Amber in Company News, Education Services

It’s been awhile since we had a Meet The Team post, so we thought we would bring it back by introducing Marshal Hayes! He is a Client Account Manager for our Education Services division.

Here is what you need to know about Marshal:

  1. Tell us why you love being a Client Account Manager? What are the best parts about your job?
The best thing about becoming a Client Account Manager is definitely knowing that my team has confidence in me and trusts that I will succeed in an expanding role.  The satisfaction of working with Special Education Departments and providing students with an opportunity to learn is something I try not to take lightly.
  1. What is the worst job you have ever had?
The worst job I have ever had was my first job. It was a summer job where I packaged and shipped sodas in a warehouse all day. Conveniently, the warehouse did not have an air conditioning unit, so the conditions were absolutely horrific. It did make me realize what I didn’t want to do though, so it wasn’t a total disaster.
  1. What is your best dance move?
My girlfriend has been trying to get me to enroll in dancing classes with her for months now so she may disagree, but I think I am a very good dancer. I can slow dance to classical music or do the electric slide with the best of them. I can pretty much cater my dance moves to any music. I think.
  1. Favorite thing to do outside of work?
I am a big sports fan, so I am interested in anything having to do with the Florida State Seminoles or Jacksonville Jaguars. I also love to travel. I have been fortunate enough to visit Europe twice and travel across the U.S.
  1. Favorite TV Show?
My favorite show is Game of Thrones and there is not a close second.
  1. What is one interesting fact that no one knows about you?
I am absolutely petrified of horses. I know a lot of people love them and say that they are the friendliest animals, but I think they are too big and powerful.
  1. If you could choose one super power what would it be and why?
If I could choose one superpower to have, it would be teleportation. Can you imagine being able to teleport into the office on a Saturday to get extra work done?
  1. Tell us what you like best about working for PPR?
Coming out of school, I didn’t really know what it would be like entering the business world. PPR has provided the ultimate foundation to my professional career. The friendly culture of the workplace was definitely unexpected and something I am trying desperately not to take for granted.
